My Wonderful Mom's Birthday Cake

My mom is a special lady. She's one of the most kind people I know, and is so loving and caring for my family. For her birthday, she needed a cake that was special. So through the Bakerella website, I found not just any cake, but a FOURTEEN layer cake. Yes, FOURTEEN layers!! It was quite the undertaking to bake this, but so worth it. I didn't even tell her how many layers it was so it was a fun surprise when she cut into it!

2010 is Here!

I can't believe it's time to ring in 2010 already. I wanted something festive and fun to ring in the New Year, so I made these fun NYE cookies for a small get together at my neighbor's house. Here's to another great year!
